Temptation is only .65 cents away

There are some things men would move mountains for, lose their lives to, or spend their fortunes chasing.  Temptation comes in many forms and many flavors.  For me….it is the post lunch sugar rush.

 

Temptation is no farther away than 50 feet from my desk and .65 cents from my pocket.    I do not need to fear loss of fortune nor do I fear loss of life.  However, I do fear loss of pant size as my horizon has a tendency to expand if gone unchecked for some time.

 

Outside my office there is a vending machine and each day around 2:30, C-6 calls my name.  My poison?  Three chocolate Zinger cakes topped with double chocolate icing, filled with cream icing sitting in slot C-6.  The cost?  You mean besides my dignity?  .65 cents, 390 calories and a hot cup of dark, rich coffee from the break room.

Ha! I should be so lucky. My temptation has always been and will always be the Swiss mushroom burger at Runza. Oh, and those coconut covered Sno-balls.

mine is eating after 6:00 PM... I have such a hard time not getting hungry late at night. But if I had to pick a certain food... it would probably be Pop-tarts... I used to get them every day with lunch but stopped that for Fit Club!!!!!

My sweet tooth really isn't that bad, it's my desire for bread of any sort, including fried food!  Wings are my vice, I have never met a hot wing I didn't like.

Jesse, not sure if there is one by you but you should try Quaker Steak and Lube's Atomic wings. They make you sign a waiver before you get a wing. Just ONE wing for the price of a bucket.
Someone I know went and tried one... said thats all they needed, rest of the meal was about 5 gallons of water.

Been there, done that, got the t-shirt.  I like hot, but I don't go crazy all the time signing waviers.  I  have tried just about all that are accessible.  I would have to say that the best wing I have ever put in my mouth for sheer flavor alone is Outback Steakhouse.  Bar none.

Actually, turnbuckles were covered a couple of posts ago... I was just wondering if eating one was for wimps!  As for the SuzyQ, a chocolate cake top and bottom with creme in the middle... google Hostess SuzyQ for more info!

To elucidate further (and thank you Fluffy!!) back then I considered a SuzyQ a food of the gods.  

Of course, that was before I found Little Debbies Swiss Cake Rolls!!!  (Do you have any idea how awesomely good those are when you put them in the freezer first?  Kind of like mini ice cream cake rolls!  And now they have Boston Creme cake rolls, too!!)

Mmmmmmmmmmm, methinks I've been dietin' too long!
