BJ Not BK

I was contacted yesterday by the I.O.C.O.P.T.  (international Olympic committee on preaching and teaching) and was given a stern warning.  You see, Sunday, July 20th I was given the wonderful privilege of preaching at a local church for the second time.  And, both times, per the church's policy, I was given a generous check for my service, please note that I neither expected nor requested said check.  Unbeknown to me this may be in violation of the Layperson's rules as laid out in the I.O.C.O.P.T. handbook, page 1,273, section C, paragraph B which states......"any layperson receiving payment for services such as preaching and or teaching while still holding amateur status may be subject to investigation for such practices and if determined by the I.O.C.O.P.T. that payment rendered to an individual in amateur status exceeds a gregarious amount, as defined by the I.O.C.O.P.T., the I.O.C.O.P.T. may at any point revoke the amateur status of said teacher/preacher along with all rights and privileges associated with amateur status."

This has me worried as I am a Bible Teacher at our church and as a lay person I desperately wanted to compete in the "preaching" event at the 2008 Summer Olympics.  I just hope and pray that my B sample comes back negative as any positive result will definitely exclude me from the competition.
