Survivor China Episode 3: Radio Talk Show Host Leslie is OUT

First review! Hope it satisfies Survivor and non-Survivor fans out there!

Well, I know this is outdated, but I'm working on episode 4, and I'll just blog on episode 3 first.

This week's Survivor episode must be the best yet. Christian Radio talk show host Leslie has made many critical mistakes in her short stay in Survivor and deserves to be ousted.

This week's reward challenge was another wrestling challenge... Two boats were linked together by two bridges. Tribes started on opposite sides of the boat and had to push all of the members of the opposing tribe to win 1 point. First to 3 wins. The women fight it out first. Oh my gosh, Fei Long was WEAK! Look at Sharea push, look at Denise push! Compare this to the Fei Long women. They stood no chance. However, Fei Long quickly made up some ground when they won the next match between men. James is definitely the most aggressive player in terms of physicality in this season. Fei Long scores a point. They lose the match against women again, and won in the match against men again. Unfortunately for Fei Long, the last match was a battle between women, so Zhan Hu had their first victory in 7 days. Leslie was kidnapped from Fei Long. Another point to note is that Dave was completely NUDE in the challenge. Come on! Survivor is for ALL AGES! I actually winced when I saw it.

Back at Zhan Hu, Leslie was told to open a secret message, which instructed her to give a clue to the Hidden Immunity Idol to someone from Zhan Hu. She chose Jaimie, as Jaimie had given her the clue in last week's episode. The clues obviously point to the "medallion" at the top of the arch, but let me ask the producers, HOW IS ANYONE SUPPOSED TO REACH IT? Climb the flag pole? Fly? Levitate? And pray tell me, how are they going to do that without anyone noticing? The idol is within their reach, but it's going to take a lot of brawn for someone to actually get it.

At the immunity challenge, tribes had to first chop down ropes holding a chinese coin. After collecting all bundles of coins, they had to piece together a puzzle, and then drag it to the finish line. Fei Long chose Courtney for the chopping. BIG MISTAKE. It was really difficult watching her chop that wood. Come on! You are supposed to chop, not adjust your top with EVERY SINGLE SWING of the axe. Pathetic, really. How did she get onto survivor? She lost so much time for Fei Long that they never caught up. Zhan Hu won their second challenge in a row.

After the challenge, at Fei Long, Leslie bragged about being in an alliance with the other Christians. How much more (pardon the word) stupid can she get? When you are in an alliance, it's supposed to be SECRET, not something you wave around in the air like some raffle ticket. Come on. What's wrong with her? Obviously, everyone is plotting to get her out of the game as she seems to be getting along with Zhan Hu instead of Fei Long.

Tribal Council. As expected, every one voted for her (yes, including her "trusted partner" Todd, though I liked him calling Leslie "Mama"). Yes Leslie, in the long run, having a heart wins the game, not brawn. However, you had a SHORT run, not long. I loved James' speech: "Those that pray hardest sin the most". Goodbye Leslie! We'll miss you. And may God be with you. Amen.

Yay! Survivor posts! Thanks. Courtney needs to go! I am worried for that girl--and you know she's not eating well... I don't have any favorites yet, do you?

Yes she needs to, but I like her spunk (especially in her confessionals). Anyway, we all know everyone's keeping her because after the merge, she'll not win any physical challenges. My favourite is definitely Todd so far, because he does have a clear winning strategy. I dislike Jean-Robert and James, Jean-Robert for his "oh, what I lack for in brawn, I can make up in brain" attitude, and James for his snarky comments.

I don't get a chance to watch but love the updates.  Thanks.

This is going to be great - I can usually just watch little bits and pieces (I do not control the remote in my house) and this will keep me "in the know".  Thanks so much.  This was actually one episode I saw most of and it is right on to what happened.

THANK YOU!

Why oh WHY does EVERYONE think Todd is the 'man'?

He thinks he is the man as well.

Does everyone think he is an underdog so they are all taken him under their wings and thinking they are the only ones who are doing this?

He's annoying me.

Anyone else think John Robert's game is el-lamo also? He thinks he's soooooo crafty!

John Robert is going to outthink himself!

Yep, John Robert thinks he's crafty but is not! Professional poker player? In Survivor you WORK to stay in the game, not laze around and put on a "pokerface".
