I'm Back....Sorta
Hey Steeps,
So I have been out of commission for a while. For those of you who don't know...I was out in LA taping for Wheel of Fortune! (And the crowd goes wild...lol). Well, anyway, I didn't make it to the bonus round (though I deserved to), but I did win cash and prizes. If you would like to see the show, it will be on December 18th. So I am back home now. However, my computer is out being serviced and I can not access chat from home right now. Cross your fingers that I get it back by the end of this week. But I do have some celeb news and TV recaps for you.
Celeb News:
TI is out of jail on $2 M bond and is on house arrest. I don't know how much of a punishment it is to stay in a expensive, roomy home though. He has petitioned the judge to allow Thanksgiving to be held at his house. He wants staff to be allowed to clean the home and yard. He will only be allowed guests during certain hours, only 3 at a time, must provide extra security on his own dime, and can not serve alcohol. I am sure it will be an interesting Thanksgiving in that household.
No charges will be filed against Diddy/P. Diddy/Puff Daddy for an alleged assault against a friend that occurred recently.
And for some reason, all the news that I heard on the way to work today has totally escaped my mind. So that's it for celeb news.
Recent TV updates:
The Shot (Vh1): Just happened across this show last night. It is a contest for photographers. Interesting for me since I am an amateur photographer myself. The first exercise for the photogs was to shoot a couple...and they had no props and no CLOTHING. I was flipping channels and missed that part though. The grop was split into two teams to create and add campaign for a magazine. The had to show in the pictures....a stormy romance between models on a yacht. One team lacked in expression. One team only shot 4 outfits instead of the required 5. However, since the second team had the much better ad campaign overall, the first team was up for elimination. The ex-model, new photographer was canned.
Shot at Love with Tila Tequila (MTV): So if you haven't seen this show...it's about a bisexual woman's search for love. She has both men and woman competing to be with her. Everyone goes to a carnival. Tila finds out that two of the contestants may have been fooling around when they slept in the same bed. Both deny but the video does seem pretty convincing. Tila doesn't get to see the video. When the woman is confronted, she thinks Tila is talking about something else and admits to kissing another femal contestant. Oops. There is a pie eating contest and Dani wins some alone time with Tila....which helps her out. Especially since Tila usually dates lipstick lesbians and Dani is not. Tila ends up cutting 5 folks: 3 dudes and 2 girls. Tila keeps the man that was involved in the bedroom tryst, but not the girl.
I Love New York 2: New York makes the guys make a blood oath to her and sacrifice something. It refuses to take part. Punk's sacrifice impresses New York the most so he wins one-on-one time with her. New York finds him boring, but finds him to be a good kisser and thinks he's a good lay so she keeps him around. Some weird things happen at the house....lights go out, things fall down, and almost everyone gets freaked out. You should have seen the guys rushing New York out the house. It looked so ridiculous!!!! Anyway. It and Midget Mack get the heave-ho. It for not taking a part in the blood oath. Midget Mack because he just recently lost the mother to his kids and NY doesn't think he's ready for love yet. But wait...that leaves one chain...and who does it go to...uh oh Buddha is back. I wonder what this means for Taylor Made!!! Check in next Monday.
Law and Order SVU: The team hunts what appears to be a serial killer. A woman is found in an elevator shaft with her breasts removed. Ugh. They find a woman who saw the woman earlier in the night. After meeting with a sketch artist, she goes missing. They find that the abductions/death are mimicing a gaphic novel based on the imagined future crimes) of an imprisoned serial killer. They find the girl after using info from the graphic novel. She is found alive but with cuts on her chest. Olivia is treathened to discontinue work on the case or she will end up like one of the victims. Later a bomb is sent to her at the police station with a pizza. Many are hurt, though not Olivia. Olivia is attacked at her apartment, but she is able to fight back and subdue the attacker (the guy who writes the graphic novels). He confesses to the murder and abduction but turns out he has an alibi. They find out that the second victim's cuts were self-inflicted and that she had a love affair with the incarcerated serial killer. So she is the one that committed the first muder and was attempting to commit suicide with her own fake abduction. They try to use the serial killer to testify against the woman, but he does nothing but help her insanity case. Novac keeps her deal with him to send him to a federal prison even though he screwed her..she sends him to a supermax fed prison were he will have no outside human contact forever. Ha ha ha. That was the best part of the episode.
