Hilary's reps are saying the alleged lip-syncing incident was in fact faulty equipment and insist she performs live at all her concerts, reports People.
This past weekend, as Duff was singing at her Mexico concert, the singer was seen bending over the microphone and lips moving, but no sound could be heard for the beginning of a song. Her reps told People, "She was not lip-synching. It was faulty equipment. There was no sound coming out, but she was singing."
Britney Shows Up At Hearing, Leaves...
(Reuters) - Britney Spears failed to appear in court on Monday morning at the start of a hearing in her bitter child custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline under a crush of frenzied media coverage.
The troubled pop star's whereabouts were not immediately clear as the hearing began in a Los Angeles courtroom, with Federline in attendance and a throng of reporters forced to wait in a hallway.

The cast of High School Musical 3: Senior Year was announced Monday – and all six of the stars have officially signed on, reports People.com.
The third and final chapter of the HSM phenomenon will star Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, and Lucas Grabeel. While the first two films aired on The Disney Channel only, this one will be a feature film.

United Press International Heiress and Hollywood red-carpet fixture Paris Hilton has been named Harvard Lampoon's Woman of the Year.
Hilton is slated to accept the award and speak publicly to Harvard University's student body at a large public ceremony in the middle of Harvard Square in Cambridge, Mass., Feb. 6, said Regent Releasing, the studio behind her new big-screen comedy The Hottie and the Nottie, which opens nationwide February 8.
Founded in 1876, Harvard University's Harvard Lampoon is the world's oldest continuously published humor magazine.
Musicians To Boycott Grammys Over Writer's Strikes?...

Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, 50 Cent and Jon Bon Jovi are considering boycotting this year's Grammy Awards ceremony in support of the Hollywood writer's strikes.
The annual ceremony is under threat of cancellation after celebrities from the music industry pledged their allegiance to the Writers Guild of America (WGA) union members.
Prince, Alicia Keys, Fantasia, Nelly Furtado, Tim McGraw, Kelly Clarkson, The White Stripes, Fergie and Usher are also threatening to boycott the event, scheduled to take place in Los Angeles on February 10, 2008, reports the New York Daily News.
A source tells the publication, "The writers are especially interested in artists who might perform on the show. If they pull out, the show comes apart."
But a spokesman for the WGA says, "As of now, the Guild has not taken a position on the Grammys."
Cruise And Holmes Taking Suri On Special Shopping Spree...
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were given a private visit to a New York toy store recently, so they could take daughter Suri on a special shopping spree.
Bosses locked members of the public out so the trio could roam around F.A.O. Schwartz - made famous by Tom Hanks' movie Big - and Holmes reveals she and her superstar husband were the biggest kids there.
The Batman Begins star says, "We went to F.A.O. Schwartz last week and we were running around and eating ice cream and playing with the toys. And Tom and I were playing with most of the toys."
