• Burger King Sells over 2 Million games (Poor Europe)

  Yes you read the title correctly; Burger king has sold over 2 million copies of their games featuring the king in less than four weeks. These promotional items seem to be a favorite among gamers. Of course at about 4 bucks a pop, it’s not that surprising. These games include pocket bike racer, sneak king and big bumpin’ all of which are rated “E” But what I found extremely funny was the fact that these games were created by Blitz Games: one of Europe’s largest independent game developers, but they cant be played In Europe because they are region locked to North America. • Whats a clan?

  When it comes to video games a clan is often just a group of gamers who enjoy playing with each other. Others are more competitive and played ranked matches for clan pride off a site such as www.gamebattles.com . However, somtimes you will find a group who is sponsered and travels to tournaments and other such events. Clans have been around for years and years, but with the popularity of halo2 and it's avialible clan support, clans have gained more noteriety. You can find a clan that fits nearly any catagory you can imagine, ranging from people who live in a certain area to people who enjoy making movies with video games.Their are also some crazy names out there. the most unusual I've seen was ZXS: Zoogenic Zenogenesis Slayers. • Halo2 Secrets

  Ok, I'm not the first to figure these out. Infact I have no clue who originally did figure them out. A multiplayer easter egg The Sign in the ocean on Zanzibar changes with the date. Soffish (12/25 ) Baby Shark (1/1) Ling-Ling's Head (7/7) No swimming (All other days) Carnage (10/31) A Single Player Skull. Difficulty: any Level:outskirts Skull Name: Blind Effects: Removes wepon/ HUD How to get it: After you reorient yourself (level should start off blurry), walk into the hallwayand turn around. You should see a flashing light. Jump on it then turn right and crouch jump to the roof. Then turn right agian and you will see some ammo and a Skull. • Host

  Host (player) – A player’s system contains the server being used. Host (dedicated) – Not part of any player’s machine, has better bandwidth, normally seen with mmog (massive multiplayer online games) In all reality host plays a large role in games. It can be the difference between a shotgun shooting like a sniper or a squirt gun. As well as the fact it is almost always required to cheat. Halo again becomes a good example. The host player has the ability to grenade jump, has more powerful weaponry and sadly can standby. This is one reasoning “bridging” became popular. You could pick who received host with a simple crossover cable connection to a computer and the right program. The only way to remove host is to provide dedicated servers. This is normally more costly though the experience is much nicer. An example of this being used in console form is Counter strike that allowed players to use a second Xbox as a dedicated host allowing more players to be in the game at a time. Another example... • Basic Facts About XBOX Cheaters

  Hopefully this article will cover the basics of what is cheating on XBOX Live and what isn't. Microsoft / Major Nelson, director of Xbox live programing, defines cheating as follows: "In a nutshell, we consider cheating to be the act of manipulating or interfering with aspects of the game or networking to give yourself or your team an unfair advantage." Honestly that covers everything and well nothing at the same time. Microsoft leaves us with another ambigious statement leaving the true definition in the court of public opinion. One of the games most notorious for cheaters is the famously infamous Halo2, which is also one of my personal favorites. The popularity Halo has reached epic proportions and has reset the standard of excellance for matchmaking on XBOX Live. Even with the tainted black mark of the cheating community and the introduction of a new XBOX console, Halo still remains one of the most played games on Xbox Live, two years after it release.
