    FileZilla

Anyone know how to use it?  I went with StartLogic as my host for a website I built/think I built!, and as a result I needed a FTP Client. I downloaded FileZilla, but don't have a clue as to what I am supposed to do now...

I am probably getting into things over my head, but I thought I would give it a try. Thanks

You need to know your login name (username), your ftp password, and the url of the ftp server.  You should have been provided with these already by your web host.  If not, contact them.

I don't know much about FileZilla, but you should be able to use it to connect to the ftp server provided by your web host.  Most ftp clients use some sort of 2 panel format, with your local files on one side, and the remote files on the other.

Thanks!  I figured out how to upload right from Microsoft Publisher, so I didn't end up using FileZilla, but I still may go with it sometime.  Have a great day!
