Count me in and I hope a lot of the AOL Gold Rush / Treasure Hunters posters come in with us!

We have a new challenge and the $100,000 sounds pretty good!

I finished all of Chapter 1, but I am always careful not to spoil too much.

 

Looks like they want Buzz to build, so Chapter 2 does not start until 5/26.

 

Until then, plenty of time for us to talk strategy.

SPOILERS BELOW If u need to get caught up for 5/26:

 

 

 

 

 

1.2 Slide the tiles around to make each tile glow red.  1.3 Make the clock look like the engravings.1.4 Slide the circles so that the dark grey is on the lower left, the light grey is on the upper right and the red is in the middle.1.5 Alpha numeric code for Pascal A=1, B=2, C=3….  Make the triangle piece make the drawing for the number and click on the location of the number.  Also if you want to know how Doritos gets the numbering scheme, go to trianglemystery.com and smash the walls with the metal dodecahedron(guessing).  You will see a stone with dots on it.  If you hover over it you get the sequence of symbols. 

 

 ok, what is the answer to the 1st part? says enterflavor, I know its an anagram but dont know the answer, ok got the anagram finally, now what about this 1st part. engravings on rock, with red triangle in the middle spinning around?

I have ideas on how to solve Pascal, but I can't figure out how to interact with the puzzle.  It doesn't seem to respond to anything I do with the mouse or keyboard.  Any hints there?

Never mind.  For some reason, the puzzle wasn't letting me click on the book.  I didn't realize I could do that until I refreshed the screen.  Once I got closer to the book, it was smooth sailing from there.

Figured I would release the answers in batches..so heres the last puzzles for chapter one.

I just signed up for this tonight, and I am really enjoying the "challenges/puzzles".  I am currently on the 5th one.  I am looking forward to the next set already!

I was just wondering if anyone is experiencing any problems logging into the Doritos game site? I was on the 5th puzzle, when I closed IE out. I went back on & tried to login, but I keep getting a 'Login Failed' message. So I tried resetting my password(twice), which it let me do with my email address, but then I still get the same 'Login failed' message everytime I try to login. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem? Any suggestions?

 

alright im stuck on the 2 things you have to spin to get the red in the middle!! i cannot figure it out of the life of me!! i know what you have to do to do....but no matter what i do, it is never right.....i know it is kinda hard to help with this one, so i guess im not asking for help.....but if you have any ideas on how to get them to turn right...that would be great!! thanks

Alexis - First day i tried to play the game i could never login, I would wait a little while and keep trying.

Besides the game is made by Red Interactive Agency, They are notorious for buggy coding and since they never have anyone on night watch to fix stuff
you gotta wait till they show up at work (santa monica, california).
 

Reabug - Try this for the cheese wheel puzzle (thats what the game developers call it anyways).

right toggle:
move up 3 times

left toggle:
move up 3 times

Right toggle:
Down 2 times

left toggle:
up 3 times

Right toggle:
down 1 time

left toggle:
up 3 times

right toggle:
up 1 time

left toggle:
up 3 times

then move the red section into the middle then move the left toggle back and forth once (for some reason it only locks into place for a COMPLETED when you move the black section)

Glad to see familiar names on the Doritos contest.  See you all again on the 24th  or is it 25th?

Thanks for the walkthroughs too, I have a question though, how did you solve the 1st challenge, what I mean is  - how did you know which order to select the symbols?  Was it just trial & error, or is there logic to it?  I also wanted to say thanks for the "cheesewheel" solution, I knew what had to be done, but I freakin couldn't get it!  Thanks again!

 It is strange, this is a national contest but there does not really seem to be much buzz on this! Better odds for someone on this forum to be one of the three finalists!

 Not horrible, but Cool Ranch has nothing to be afraid of. I checked the Ingredients as well- No Caffeine! isn't that the point of drinking Mt. Dew, is for sure is not for the taste...
